Now that the back story is clear. Let us start with our today's vlog.
Kodaikanal has a cold weather and we were excited yet shivering. Mornings in Kodaikanal are beautiful and peaceful. We had shower and our driver was supposed to come at 8:30 am.
We had our breakfast in the hotel. We had typical South indian breakfast. Believe me, it was yum!!!!!
Right after the breakfast, we sat in our car and started our Day 2 places to visit. First we visited the Dolphine nose. It was a long trek, almost took 1hr walk to the destination. The road is narrow, uneven but beautiful. While going to the Dolphine nose, there are mini tourist spot like echo point, small waterfall, etc.
Kodaikanal generally have 4-5 tourist spots at one place. This is something great about the place as it saves on the cab money.
Dolphine nose was beautiful. It is peaceful there and only a few people can actually walk through and reach the Dolphine nose because it is really tiring to walk for more than an hour. We saw that many people actually returning back as they got tired.
But we had decided that no matter what, we will by hook or crook visit the place. Because, we don't want to regret later.
While going to the Dolphine nose, you find Mountain View also called as Echo point. It is beautiful. We reached there early morning somewhere around 9 am so we could not see the mountain view exactly due to fog. But it is peaceful there.
Find below attached video too. This will help you to see the mind blowing nature of Kodaikanal. I am hoping that video is playable after this blog gets live. Hehe, I will take care of it 😉
The second point was waterfall. We had to cross this flowing water that actually captures more than half of the road and rest of the road was slippery. We had to be careful. This entire track was lovely. I could not click the small waterfall's image exactly so cannot place it here.
Third place of course the Dolphine nose. Here is the picture. As you can see, there's only fog and no mountains could be seen.
Lastly, we visited this below attached Kodai Waterfall. Amazing isn't it? It's at the walkable distance from the point of start trek to Dolphine nose.
Day 2 was exciting and tiring. But if I am being honest, I was not tired of traveling. Yes, during the trek I was tired but all of it was worth it.
That's all for today lovelies. Stay tuned for the next part. I will try to upload it fast.
Let me know if you're enjoying this vlog series.
