What to do in Kodaikanal? Part 2

Oh hey again! Missed me? Oh, sure you did.

In the last blog, we discussed how I decided on the place and booked the tickets to Kodaikanal.

Let me explain the itinerary that was given to us for the flights. Basically, we had two flights: one from my state to Hyderabad and then from Hyderabad to Tamil Nadu. At the Tamil Nadu airport, we were supposed to be picked up by a pre-booked car and then dropped off at our hotel in Kodaikanal.

(For those who don't know, Tamil Nadu is a state in India, and Kodaikanal is a town in Tamil Nadu.)

Our journey started on 12th November 2023. We boarded the first flight to Hyderabad, and we were both super excited. It was my first trip with a friend. I mean, yeah, I had school trips and all, but this trip was special because it was planned by myself and paid for with my own money, guys! The excitement was real, pure, and full of happy tears. BTW, our flight was delayed by 2 hours.

My friend started reading her books and I called my boyfriend and we kept talking. Somehow, we passed our time and then yes, we finally boarded our first flight to Hyderabad. 

We reached Hyderabad at 1 am IST, and of course, we couldn't sleep due to excitement. Plus, where would we sleep? The lounge was full and partially closed. We were sleepless that night, but our energy level was super high because of the excitement. We charged our phones and decided to explore every bit of Hyderabad airport. We had endless laughs, talks, and walks. We had KFC's Peri Peri chicken burger at 5:30 am IST, which was crazy.

We passed our time somehow. Our flight to Tamil Nadu was around 7 am, and thankfully it was not delayed. We boarded our flight with a lot of excitement. I had a power nap on the flight while my friend was busy recording her silly videos.

(If she reads this, she's going to kill me for calling her silly.)

We reached Tamil Nadu at 9 am. Wow! I expected a bigger airport, but it was fine. We stepped out of the airport and started looking for the pre-booked car. MMT made sure we had all the details for this trip. They had given us a call 7 days prior to the trip and discussed the itinerary, driver details, car details, and what to do in case of an emergency. Thanks to these arrangements, we found the driver and the car easily.

We sat in the car and were told that it would take around 5-6 hours to reach Kodaikanal. We slept a little, and after 2 hours, we could see just "beauty."
