Place to visit in Kodaikanal Day 2 continued

Surprised reading the title??? Don't be. Because yes it is the continuation of the very Day 2 part. 

I know it's been a week but come on, writing your experience is a task and you know it well. 

If you have forgotten what happened in the last part here's the link. 

So let's move on and continue. 

We did visit places and were dropped at the hotel by 1 pm IST. We assumed that we will be having our lunch and then start exploring other places mentioned in our itinerary.

When my friend asked the driver that what time he will be back, we were shocked to the core after listening to his response. He said that he will come the next day for Day 3 places. 

We argued that we have so many places to visit and how come you are saying you won't be back anymore? He still stuck to his earlier response and went. 

We came inside the hotel and I was very upset. I called the MMT our tour manager and complained to her about the driver's behavior. She said she will look into the matter and get back to us. 

We waited for 1 hour but there was nothing from the Make My Trip authorities. No calls or messages, absolutely nothing. I gave them a call back and the most pathetic answer they had was "LUNCH TIME". This irked both of us and we were furious at their team. 

Come on guys, we paid such a huge amount for this customised tour and this is what we get? If the itinerary had places mentioned and we are not taken there at all, wouldn't it be a matter of testing patience? Did we visit Kodaikanal to sit in our hotel rooms? Can you sense ky anger in this para? Absolutely! I was angry more than this and gave them a bamboo. 

After one more hour the authority called me and said that the driver will call you and solve thid matter. He will take you and finish the bucketlist of today. We waited for one more hour and there was no call. It was 4 pm IST. Patience was finished and I gave the authority a call again and complaint again, they moved this complaint ticket to head office in Bangalore. I got a call from there and I explained to that man everything. He said he will make the driver call me. And surprisingly, the driver called us and I was furious already and did not want to sound too rude, I gave the phone to my friend. 

He told us he will be there in 40 mins and take us to the places. We did not have our lunch so headed out for the lunch in a restaurant nearby as the hotel's lunch was way too expensive. 

After the lunch, we waited and gave the driver a call and asked him to come to the restaurant directly and collect us. He came and then we started our Day 2 remaining tour. 

For today, this is it. Don't want to continue the beautiful part in this part. But I promise to you that I will come soon with the next part.
