Mother and son

With the other regular customers kinuyo Mita and her daughter Koyoko Mita were regular visitors to the café. kinuyo Mita was a lovely lady she had a son and a daughter. Her son's name was Yoko Mita and her daughter's name was Kyoko Mita.

Yukio Mita the aspiring potter, was a serious type who would always persevere with a single task. if he was told to do a job he would never give up even if he was unsupervised. he had a warm personality and treated everyone kindly. he moved to Koyoto to study further ceramics under a famous studio potter named yamagshi katsura in Kyoto. when Yukio decided to study pottery no one was happy except for his mother kinuyo. also while leaving for Kyoto she handed him all her savings in case he needed that was a mother's love for Yokiyo.

He started his learning in Kyoto, while Kinuyo would write him letters regularly. But Yukio struggled a lot. Once Yukio got an offer, he would receive funding if he opened his studio so he took a lot of loans and opened his studio. But he got cheated on no one provided him funding. In that meantime, kinoyu on one side was diagnosed with cancer. She didn't tell Yokiyo about it as she dint want to worry him. She wanted him to completely focus on his studies.

But after some time kinoyo died due to cancer. Kyoko informed Yukio through a letter but he did not come for the funeral. since he got cheated in the money fraud he had no money left so he worked odd jobs to save money and pay the huge amount of loans he had taken. barely had fares to visit back to Tokyo for his mother's funeral.

But when he had enough fare he visited the café months after his mother's death to visit her in the past. But will be able to tell her everything?

The lovers

Remember we talked about a woman named Fumiko Kiyokawa and Goro in book 1 her tale was also named ‘ the lovers’ but here this tale of the lovers in book two is different but something related to Fumiko. Fumiko had a junior colleague at her work named Asami mori. Katsuki Kurata was also a junior colleague of Fumiko. Both Katsuki and Asami were good close friends and worked together. Asami had a boyfriend at a point in time and she became pregnant. After ten weeks of her pregnancy, her boyfriend broke up with her and after effect of the breakup, she had Asamis miscarriage. She became very sad and depressed.

At that time Katsuki and Asami grew close as Katsuki was a sympathetic ear for her and she felt good when she shared her pain with him. eventually, they fell In love with each other. but destiny had its plans. After a point of time, Katsuki fell ill and was given only six months to live. But he had a tiny hope for his treatments. He had bought a ring to propose Asami but he dint tell her until he was sure he would make it alive due to his illness. But he died six months after his diagnosis.

Before his death, he did visit the café, he had told only Fumiko that in the future he would visit that café at a specific date and time and told her that if Asami had married and moved on after his death then there was no need to bring her to the café but if she had not moved on from katsuki and unable to marry he needs her to come.

What do you think when Katsuki traveled to the future, Asami would have come? Or had she moved on?

 The married couple.

There was a married couple. The husband's name was Kiyoshi Manda and his wife's name was Kimiko Manda. Kiyoshi and Kimiko were together at school and they got married. Both of their dreams were to become police officers. but due to some reasons, Kimiko could not become a police officer she had a strong sense of right and wrong. whereas Kiyoshi got into the crime investigation department but he couldn't handle the homicides and crime he got depressed. He decided to tell Kimiko that he chose to leave his job. But he was not going to tell her that in the house. So during kimikos birthday, he decided to call her to the café and tell her the news.

That fine day when Kimiko came to the café she waited for Kiyoshi. But Kiyoshi was caught up in some work and chose to work. Kimiko waited for him till the closing timings of the café. When she leaves the café something unfortunate happens that takes her life. After that Kiyoshi remains in the regret that he never gifted his wife a gift. so one day he comes to the café to travel to the past to visit his wife. But something disappoints him when he asks Kazu to pour him the coffee to time travel. will he be able to time travel?

Story of Kazu Tokita

Once Kazu Tokita's mother Kaname Tokita time traveled in the past to meet her dead husband. and at that time kazu was only seven years old. the rule of the café was that only the women of the Tokita generation could make people time travel and that they could start pouring coffee from the age of seven here we also come to know that pregnant women of the Tokita generation can't pour the coffee. so when Kazu was seven she poured coffee for her mother when her mother time traveled to the past to meet her husband she was not aware of the time the coffee went cold and she turned into a ghost. from that day kazu believed that she was the reason behind Kaname being a ghost and she felt guilt.

One day Koyoko Mita (daughter of Kinuyo) found out that Kazu was pregnant with her boyfriend's child and she was not planning to keep it. but Koyoko told Kazy that her mother kinuyo treated Kazu as her child and wanted her to be happy in her life. So one day when it was Kaname’s birthday Kazu promised the ghost of Kaname that she would be happy and keep the baby. at that moment the ghost of Kaname smiles at Kazu and evaporates in the air as if all the time she wanted to hear that sentence from Kaname's mouth. now when Kaname evaporates into the air and finds peace, a gentleman in his early old age is sitting on that chair.

This was end of the book two. Two more books are remaining in the series we will be back with the tales.
