Hello, my Lovely Readers!
It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I know we haven’t connected as much lately, and trust me, I’ve missed you just as much as you’ve missed me. Life has been a whirlwind—work as a corporate girlie has been relentless, and personal matters have taken up their fair share of my energy. Finding that elusive balance between work and life? Let’s just say it’s been a work in progress.
This blog, my creative sanctuary, has been on my mind constantly. Writing requires two key ingredients: creativity and a calm mindset. Lately, both have been in short supply for me. But finally, the fog has lifted, and I’m back here, ready to share and connect with all of you.

The Topic of the Day: My Skin Care Routine
I’ll admit, I’m not someone who dives headfirst into experimenting with beauty products. My skin is reactive, and the thought of trying something new often fills me with dread. Negative reactions leave lasting impacts on my face, so I’ve always been cautious and selective.
However, over the past four to five months, I’ve been following a simple yet effective skincare routine. My goal? Keep my skin hydrated, healthy, and glowing. The results have been incredible! Friends have noticed and even complimented my skin, calling it “Korean Glass Skin.” Can you imagine how thrilled I felt? These kind words have only motivated me to stay consistent with my regimen.
Now, I’m here to share my routine with you. Remember, what works for me might not work for everyone, so please patch-test before trying anything new.

My Skincare Routine
1. Morning Ritual with Aloe Vera Gel
Every morning, I apply a generous layer of Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel to my face. I leave it on for 20–25 minutes before rinsing it off. After washing, I gently pat my skin dry to avoid any irritation. This step is my daily dose of hydration and a fantastic start to the day.
2. Weekly Exfoliation
To keep my pores clean and prevent blackheads, dark spots, and dead skin buildup, I exfoliate once a week. This step ensures my skin stays smooth and radiant.
3. De-tanning Face Wash
Twice a week, I use a de-tanning face wash to maintain an even skin tone. Although I don’t spend much time outdoors, I still include this step to protect my skin from tanning, even when I’m just enjoying time in my gallery.
4. Dark Spot Vanishing Face Wash
I use this face wash several times a week to address pimple marks and uneven skin tone. This helps prevent stubborn spots from overstaying their welcome on my skin.
5. Neck Care
Whatever I apply to my face, I make sure to apply to my neck as well. This ensures a consistent skin tone across both areas.
6. Weekly Sheet Mask
Even though I use aloe vera gel daily, I indulge in a hydrating sheet mask once a week. Sheet masks infuse my skin with moisture, leaving it plump and dewy.
7. Hydration is Key
Drinking water is non-negotiable! I make it a point to drink at least 1–2 liters of water every day to keep my skin and mind refreshed.
8. Blackhead Removal
Every 15 days, I use Sanfe nose strips to remove blackheads. I love these strips because they don’t have a strong smell, unlike other products I’ve tried.

Products I Swear By
Aloe Vera Gel
I’m a big fan of Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel. It’s natural, soothing, and works wonders for preventing pimples and promoting clear skin.
Exfoliation Scrubs
For exfoliation, I alternate between Himalaya Scrub and Everyuth Scrub. Both are gentle and free from harsh chemicals, making them perfect for my sensitive skin.
Sunscreen
Dot & Key’s tinted sunscreen is my holy grail. It provides sun protection without leaving a white cast, and it adds a lovely glow to my skin. Plus, it’s never caused me any irritation.
Minimal Makeup
On most days, I skip makeup entirely. My go-to look is a simple combination of sunscreen, kajal, and lipstick. For special occasions, I rely on Biotique Foundation, which also contains sunscreen—perfect for a long day out.
Homemade Face Pack
I occasionally whip up a DIY face pack using besan (gram flour), turmeric, and rose water. After leaving it on for 20–25 minutes, my skin feels rejuvenated, soft, and radiant.
Sheet Masks
Himalaya sheet masks are my weekly indulgence. They’re affordable, effective, and leave my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.
