The house near the burial site

Hope you all are well. Today is Saturday and here I am with another horror story. If you did not read last Saturday’s horror story click here and have fun reading time.

Today’s story was told to me by my brother. The story is real and was told to him by his friend. Let’s get started without any more delay.

Mr. Khanna (imaginary name) had shifted to Rajasthan leaving his family in another state. He wanted to settle down first and then get his family thereafter his children pass out in that year. He was working in the government sector. He had got a transfer, which is why he shifted there.

The office where Mr. Khanna was working was very far from the village in Rajasthan. It was near a burial site. Being a government servant he got a house along with a servant. The house was near the office which means near the burial only. The area was very quiet. No persons used to roam there since there was nothing except two buildings. Mr. Khanna was very disappointed since he did not like the area. For any shoppings, he had to travel to the village which was far.

One day, the servant had to go urgently to the village because his mother was unwell. He asked Mr. Khanna for the leave and assured Mr. Khanna that he will be back by morning tomorrow. He asked Mr. Khanna if he could stay alone because of the burial site. Mr. Khanna asked him to leave without any worries and that he doesn’t fear anything. Mr. Khanna had no fears. He could stay alone for ages. He was brave that way. The servant left and now Mr. Khanna was alone at his place.

Mr. Khanna went to sleep around 10 pm. He slept soon. It was midnight when he heard someone walking fast on the walls of the compound. He went out and checked and found nobody. He went and tried sleeping again. Again after some time, he heard somebody walking around the house i.e now inside the compound. He went and checked again. This time he too walked around the compound to check, told you, he was brave and feared nothing. If I had to sleep there I would have run by this time. Just imagine you are staying in a house which is far away from the village near the burial site and it’s a night and you are all alone. Gosh!!!! Can’t even imagine.

After checking he found nobody and he tried sleeping again. After some time again he heard somebody walking, but this time inside the house. Yes, inside the house which was locked from all the sides. Now Mr. Khanna checked the house. He checked every corner of the house and found nobody. Mr. Khanna was furious. I forgot to mention that every night the electricity used to go off in that area and this story is a bit old so the electricity was not very developed. These days the wires are strong and underground facilities are available.

After checking the house, Mr. Khanna slept again and after some time he heard somebody walking around his bed. Yes, right around his bed which is very scary. And this time Mr. Khanna was very scared. He did not know what to do. He still got up looked around him and as usual found nobody. He ran into the temple of his house and started chanting god’s name. he was sure that it’s a spirit and would not enter the temple. But, he said that when he closed his eyes he found that somebody was walking around him continuously. And now Mr. Khanna was all sweaty and scared. He now had no option. He couldn’t run in the village which was very far and couldn’t even wait in the house.

He prayed to god. And he remembered his servant saying that there was a “baba” who used to stay in the village and is known to be the best to make evil spirits leave. He then started chanting that “baba’s name” and within no time the sound of the footsteps stopped. And finally, Mr. Khanna was relieved.

The next day, when the servant was back home, Mr. Khanna told his servant about the incident and the servant told him that, the baba too was buried here and must have heard Mr. Khanna’s prayer very soon and that the spirit must be evil and which is why was troubling Mr. Khanna.

I don’t know how far the stories which I narrate to you all are true. To be honest, I experienced paranormal activities but those can be explained scientifically. But the stories which I told you today and the last two Saturdays cannot have any scientific basis.
