Haunting couple- True horror story

I am here once again with the Saturday story. Today’s story is romantic and horror. My brother told me about it so I thought why not include it in today’s blog? So here I am with the story, do read and share it with all because the more you all read it will encourage us to write more. So let’s get started.

There was one girl and one boy, who loved each other a lot. They studied together, fell in love, and continued being together till their graduation. Their love story was amazing, the guy fell he proposed her, she too had feelings for him and she said yes. The only problem in their love story was the caste issue. The guy was Tamil and she was Maharashtrian. Now, they were scared to tell their parents. few months passed and they kept on thinking about this issue. Then they come to a conclusion that no matter what their families decide, they won't leave each other.

The guy approaches his family and tells about the girl. They deny it and they decide that they will start looking for a girl for him. He denies and fights and all takes place. Now, hoping that her family will give the consent, the girl tells her family, and as expected even her family decides that they will find a suitable match for her. The girl’s father locks her into the room and puts several restrictions.

Now, as they decided no matter what they will stick together. They tried hard but, their families did not accept their relationship. Thereafter, they decided to elope. They elope. They shifted to Goa. As they had a good degree, they got a job and also, they looked for a good flat in Goa and they started living together. I forgot to mention that after eloping they first got married in a temple and then they stayed in a hotel and while they stayed there they searched for a job and flat.

They stayed together for 5 years. They lived happily. They made friends. They had a good neighbor. Everything was going great. The girl was really happy, she used to cook great. She used to share the recipe with her neighbor too. Her neighbor was a young guy. She used to consider him her brother. The couple shared their story too.

One night, their neighbor was sleeping alone in his apartment. His roommates had gone to their respective cities. Suddenly in the middle of the night, he wakes up and sits. The moment he looks straight at the sofa in his room, he gets a shock. He sees his neighbors that is, the couple. The couple did not look usual, their bodies looked transparent, but still, the guy asked them that how did they enter? And why so late? He checks his bedroom door it was locked from inside.

He quickly sleeps back and starts chanting god’s name. Again, he peeps out from his blanket, he still could see the couple smiling at him. He was very scared. Just imagine how would you react? Hmmm, the same way he got to react. Thereafter, he did not know when he fell asleep. The next day, he was freaking out. He straight away went to the couple’s house. He knocked on the door. No response. But he could smell something fishy from the inside. He goes to the secretary and tells him everything. The secretary approaches the couple’s flat and opens the door. The moment door gets opened, all we're left shocked. The couple had hanged themselves in the hall.

The secretary called the police. After interrogation, the police narrates the story of the couple as in, what exactly happened. The couple was happy no doubt. They had good work too. They had a good amount of salary so that issue never popped up. They had no loans. Everything was smooth. They had written a suicide note which stated “ We lived our lives and do not wish to live it more. We are happy that we found each other, fell for each other and we are now satisfied with our lives. We just do not wish to continue it further.”

Then it was also told by the police that the couple stayed in the five-star hotel for 15 days and the couple did not pay the bill which was amounted to 10 lakhs and they eloped from there after 15 days. The families did not wish to see their children and did not want to perform the rituals.

Don’t know how far the story is true. It was told to my brother by his friend.
