Scary night.

One night, I was alone in my house. My parent had gone out for some function and I had exams the next day morning, I stayed back. I closed all the windows of my house and doors too. I went back to my room and had turned off all the lights in the house except my bedroom. I was in my room reading the book. I suddenly heard a noise coming from the kitchen. I thought am dreaming because I was all alone in my house.

I continued reading the book and was writing down and was seriously studying suddenly I heard some strange noise and got so scared because I was seriously into studies and due to that noise I was zoned out. I was so furious that I went down to the kitchen turned on the lights and found nobody there. Now you all must be thinking how come I was not scared because I was sure that nobody can come inside the house. I had locked up everything. I was all alone in the house.

I went back to my room and started studying. I studied for a while and was now hungry. I prepared some Maggie and had it in my room watching Netflix. I went back to the kitchen to keep my plate and turned off the lights and went back to my bedroom. I was revising the subject and suddenly I heard a fall of something strange in the kitchen. This time I got a bit scared. I went down again in the kitchen but, again I found nobody there. I went up again to my room and was scared. I couldn’t revise more so decided to call up my friend. She didn’t receive it because she was studying. I called my father and asked him by what time will he be home? He said by 11 pm. I looked at the watch and it was 10 pm. I was scared but calm because it was just a matter of 1 hour.

Suddenly I heard some strange noise and cracking noise, so, I went down slowly again. I was scared. I was terrified yet I kept going down. I moved to the right-hand side of the living room towards the kitchen and check the kitchen and still didn't find anything. I was puzzled, I was scared that what was wrong. I went up again and started revising again. It was around 10:50 pm and I was glad that my parents will be here at any moment.

Again there was a strange noise and there was a huge sound of something falling and this time it was louder. This time I didn’t go down because I was terrified. Still, I decided to go after making myself understand that anyway I will have to go down to open the door for my parents. I went down slowly and I could hear some strange voice from the kitchen and suddenly the doorbell rang and I happily ran towards the door and opened the door. And was scared to death to see a person in a hoodie and the face wasn’t visible because of the darkness. And he held my neck and came inside and then I saw the face of that person. He was none other than my brother who surprised me with his visit and my parents didn’t go for any function but to receive him.

I told them about the strange noise and suddenly again the same voice came from the kitchen and all of us moved towards the kitchen while noise was still coming, and turned on the lights. We all saw the reason for the strange noise right in front of our eyes and it was due to a cat who was trying hard to come into the kitchen from the hole in the window. We all laughed so much. It was so funny that a cat scared me who didn't even come into the kitchen. And all this while I was thinking who could have come in and how? That to why that person is in the kitchen? Such a mad night it was.

Whenever I think of that night now it makes me laugh so hard. A small cat could scare such a big human. I felt like a victim of crime patrol that night and sometimes I felt like I am living a character of some horror movie. But anyway experience was scary and comedy.
