Let's help them

Hey there. This blog is about realization. I was thinking about the society that how women with the passing time have been degraded always. In olden times, women were treated like garbage and were sold as if they were some sort of commodities. Time right now is much better than the olden days due to many laws and protection provided for the safeguards of rights of women but how many women know about these laws or protection which are provided to protect their interests?

In India, we know many states, cities, and regions. But there are some villages out there which we are aware of, but there are many unknown villages which we are unaware of. We need to spread such awareness through posts and try to protect those women who are having no idea about the protection they have and which they can use as their weapon.

Women think that nobody can save them from the various crimes they go through. They accept the violence thinking that they will have to live with it and that this is their fate. We all can collectively bring this change. We can make society realize the importance of women and that they too have the right to live with dignity. Also, women have the right to express themselves. They have the right to rise and shine in society. We need to spread such awareness whenever we can. A little effort won’t harm anybody. 

There are too many cases registered with regard to domestic violence, dowry, assault but at the same time, there are innumerable cases that go unregistered due to societal pressure or family threat. But at the same time, there are also cases wherein a woman doesn't know that she has a legal weapon and she can go and complain. Don't you think that we should make such other women aware of the rights she has? This can change their lives. We cannot imagine the trauma a woman goes through. Can't even imagine the pain she suffers every day with the hope the time will change. Since so many ages woman has been treated as a toy to remove the anger. She has been treated like an animal. 

Society needs a revival. We need to open up to the laws. We need to spread awareness. No doubt the Government arranges various social benefit camps but, are such women aware of them? No, definitely not. Because many of the women have no source to get know about such camps or whatever. They are not so educated too. Or maybe they live in such an area that even Government can't notice such places. In such cases, our social media can help them. We have so many influencers who can spread such awareness through their platforms and make them aware that they can receive the protection if they wish to and they should avail the benefits of the laws made for them. 

Also, whenever you face any kind of dirty treatment you always have a helpline to contact to. You can even report any sexual harassment incident that happened to you. Do not stay quiet and bear any kind of nuisance because you are not alone and you are not bound to accept such humiliation. Even when you see is accepting such sexual treatment under some pressure please reach to such victim and help her. Your one help might save her entire life. 

In every woman's life, she faces some or other kinds of sexual harassment be it at the workplace, school, or college. She goes through mental trauma and that's true. It is very easy to make a meme or whatever but you never know the pain and the trauma she faces is unbearable. It is not easy to overcome such trauma and mental irritation she faces. Later on, it becomes uneasy for her to face the work or the place where she faced such trauma. We need to identify such women and help them out to overcome such fears she goes through. Helping each other in society will make us united. Educating few women about their rights and the legal weapon they have will bring a change in society. Let's help them.
